The First Peep on “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”
When “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” was released in 1961, we had no idea it would turn out to be one of the most iconic projects in history. The film starred Audrey Hepburn, where she played the role of Holly Golightly, a quirky New Yorker. Many women resonated with Holly, and the character became one of the most iconic images of American cinema in the 20th century.
With its enormous commercial and critical success, the film earned five Grammy Awards and two Academy Awards. The United States National Film Registry also recognized its cultural, historical, and aesthetic significance.
