Shelley Long is an American actress. She has won an Emmy and two Golden Globes over the past four decades and she’s still actively working. In 2021, she appeared in the movie “The Cleaner.” While she also had a recurring character on the popular sitcom “Modern Family.”

However, she’s best known for her character Diane Chambers in the 1982 sitcom “Cheers,” along with the movies “The Money Pit,” “Hello Again,” and “A Very Brady Sequel.” In 1981, she married a securities broker, Bruce Tyson, and had a daughter with him.
