Even though Phylicia Rashad gained her popularity from “The Cosby Show,” playing ‘Clair Huxtable,’ she is also a stage director and a singer. She also has the honor to win a Tony Award for Best Actress in a play in 2004. She was the first African-American actress to achieve this feat.
In 2021, she started working as the Dean of the Howard University Chadwick A. Boseman College of Fine Arts. Also, the same year, she had appeared on multiple TV shows, including an episode of “David Makes Man,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” and “This Is Us.”
