Betty Lynn – Born in 1926
Despite enrolling in the Kansas City Conservatory of Music, Betty Lynn is renowned for her outstanding acting career between 1948 and 2006. Even though she retired years ago, her fans still remember Betty for the excellent role she played in The Andy Griffith Show as Thelma Lou.
In 1940, Darryl Zanuck discovered Betty and she landed a contract with 20th Century Fox to appear in Walk with Music. After this contract, she made her first film debut in June Bride and more appearances in movies like Cheaper by the Dozen and Payment on Demand.
