Historically, John F. Kennedy was regarded as an optimistic and youthful icon that left an impact on the United States of America. It all started when he won the 1960 presidential election against Richard Nixon. It was the first campaign in history where debates between candidates were televised.

Aside from his humor and positive aura, Kennedy was also the first Roman Catholic president. He proved he was worthy of the seat as he touched on several key issues. He showed good dynamic leadership during the Vietnam War and the Cuban missile crisis. He left an unforgettable mark until his tragic assassination in Texas.
