Super Bowl In Its First Game
What is now an annual phenomenon in American football has its roots in 1967. The Super Bowl was created when two football leagues, the American Football League and the National Football League, collaborated in unity. It took place on January 15, 1967, at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in Los Angeles, California.
During that time, reports noted that more African American players were on the field than other sports. And while the event continues to raise its ticket prices over the years, it can be pretty amusing to know that the first Super Bowl only cost $12!
