Marilyn Monroe is a significant icon of pop culture. She earned the name blonde bombshell in Hollywood. She starred in multiple films, including “Gentlemen Prefer Blondes,” “The Seven Year Itch,” and “Some Like It Hot.” Her films have grossed $2 billion.
Aside from this, Monroe was known for her stand on woman empowerment and political activism. Sadly, the world received the tragic news of her loss in 1962. She was found dead in her home in Los Angeles. Although her life ended, Monroe remained one of the greatest female legends from the Golden Age of Hollywood, as noted by the American Film Institute.
