Kate McGregor – Emily Kirk from Emmerdale
Though it has been some time since we have heard of Kate McGregor, her memorable role as Emily Kirk in “Emmerdale” has left an indelible mark. From the moment she took on the part in 1999, her portrayal of a misfit character who married an ill-fated man captured the hearts of many.
Nonetheless, in 2008, McGregor chose to depart from the show to pursue her dreams of being a full-time mother, as her husband was returning to teaching. A great number of us no longer remember her name, yet the final image of her remains forever in our minds, stunningly radiant.
