Tracy Shaw – Maxine Peacock from Coronation Street

Tracy Shaw may have only had a few acting credits, but she made an impact with her time playing Maxine Peacock in “Coronation Street.” From 1995 to 2003, she drew in millions of viewers with her portrayal of the character. Sadly, her character was killed by her on-screen husband in an episode that reportedly garnered 17.5 million viewers.

Though it’s been a while since Shaw was last seen in the 2018 movie “Monster,” she has not been idle. She has been busy in theater, and a 2020 article reports that she was a part of the production of “The Cat and the Canary.”
