Charles Lawson – Jim McDonald from Coronation Street
Veteran star Charles Lawson is best known for playing Jim McDonald in “Coronation Street” starting in 1989. Since leaving the long-running soap opera, he had briefly returned in 2018 but permanently said goodbye to the program. He has ditched the mustache and embraced aging as he dons his graying mane.
He also packed on a few pounds, but he is still active in theater. In 2018, Lawson made the news after he suffered a mild stroke while involved in a play. The actor, who will next star in a short movie, said he was exhausted for weeks before the incident.
