The unforgettable Bet Lynch made her debut on “Coronation Street” in 1966 and remained there until 2003. Her captivating personality kept the viewers hooked, and although she was only meant to appear for nine episodes, Julie Goodyear quickly became a regular. Her time on the show was briefly interrupted due to an illness, but Goodyear soon returned.
