Kate Silverton & Mike Heron – 11 Years

In a recent interview, Kate Silverton, the English newscaster whose career has spanned over several decades, revealed that she had been very averse to commitment during her younger years. That was why when she met her future husband, Mike Heron, in a conflict zone training course in 2005, she didn’t know what to do.

Fortunately, the pair worked it out and in 2010, the journalist and the former Royal Marine tied the knot after he proposed to her in Rome. Kate has gushed about her gratefulness for Mike’s patience during that time and states that he is truly her soulmate. Nowadays, they live a relatively private life with their two children, Clemency and Wilbur.
