Malala Yousafzai & Asser Malik – 3 years
The former child rights activist Malala Yousafzai from Pakistan has had an eventful life: while she was fighting for the education of girls in her country, she was assassinated. She was shot in cold blood in the head, but the girl survived, was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize and is now a grown woman working in Britain. Malala met her current husband Asser Malik about three years ago, and the relationship was largely kept secret until the marriage in 2021. Although she previously stated that she did not believe in the institution of marriage, the wedding bells rang and congratulations came from all over the world. A well-deserved happiness!
