Angelina Jolie needs no introduction, owing to her success in acting and filmmaking. The question is, did you know she’s the daughter of actor John Voight and the late Marcheline Bertrand? Now you know! She took her mother’s looks and perhaps has arguably surpassed her success in acting too.

Jolie’s humanitarian role came from her mother, who was once a humanitarian worker. She continues to fund her mother’s charities long after her death in 2007. In February 2022, she was at the forefront of pushing for Congress to pass the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act.
