Terry Marcel (Born in 1942) – Hawk the Slayer
Terry Marcel is a British film director known for his work in the fantasy and adventure genres. He first gained recognition in the early ’80s with the release of his feature film debut, “Hawk the Slayer,” which became a cult classic.
He later went on to direct a number of other films, including “The Prisoner of Zenda” and “Jane and the Lost City.” His style is marked by his love of practical effects and his ability to create immersive worlds on a limited budget. His last project was in the form of the TV series “The Dark Knight” in 2002.
