Dame Maggie Smith is a force of nature. She started her acting career in the long-gone year of 1952 and is still at the top of her game. This London native is known for working in productions as famous as “Downton Abbey,” “Gosford Park,” or “The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel.” You may also recognize her as the lady who portrayed ‘Prof. McGonagall’ in the “Harry Potter” film series.
Still not thinking about retirement, Smith seems to always have a new project in hand. In 2022, she’s one of the stars featured in the movies “A German Life” and “Downton Abbey: A New Era.”
