Daniel Davis (Born In 1945) – Star Trek: The Next Generation

Unlike most typical Hollywood stars, Daniel Davis is more of a stage performer than a big-screen actor. Yet, his talent on-screen is top-notch and he proved this with his performance as Professor Moriarty on the sci-fi series Star Trek: The Next Generation. This role brought Davis’s name to international notice and he’s been recognized as a bonafide Hollywood star since then.

Apart from Star Trek, he’s also been in several other on-screen projects, including “The Nanny,” where he played the role of Niles the butler for six years. Davis is still taking on both stage and on-screen roles. In 2020, he appeared in the series “Dispatches from Elsewhere.”
