Ali MacGraw (Born In 1939) – Love Story
By 1972, Ali MacGraw was recognized as the top female box office star in the world. That’s how much the New York-born star took the movie industry by storm when she arrived in the ‘70s. After acting in only three movies, she had already won two Golden Globe awards and an Oscar nomination.
While her beauty was without question, her acting talent was on full display in her first two movies “Goodbye, Columbus” and “Love Story.” MacGraw hasn’t experienced that type of success again in her movie career, nor has she been on-screen since 1997. Rather she’s diverted her attention to animal activism.
