John Cleese (Born in 1939) – Monty Python’s Flying Circus
John Cleese, a legendary British actor, comedian, and writer, is known for his iconic roles in some of the most popular comedy films and television shows of all time. Born in 1939 in Somerset, England, he first rose to stardom as a member of the groundbreaking comedy troupe “Monty Python’s Flying Circus.”
Cleese went on to star in and write for several popular films, including “A Fish Called Wanda” and “Fierce Creatures,” and has also had success on stage and television. Alongside his career, he’s also a vocal activist. He penned “Bang Bang!” in 2017, an adaptation of the play “Monsieur Chasse!”
