Bernadette Stanis (Born In 1953) – Good Times

Bernnadette Stannis will forever be remembered as the character Thelma Evans, which she portrayed on the popular CBS sitcom, “Good Times.” Interestingly, that was her first-ever role, and although she appeared in some other shows, including “The Cosby Show,” “Good Times,” remains her most famous.

Acting is not her only forte, as she’s good with the pen as well, having written at least four books. Although she became less popular and active following the turn of the century, Stanis continued to lend her acting talent to series and movies. In 2022, she appeared in “The Family Business.”
