From playing Jeff Webber in “General Hospital” to starring as the lead role in “MacGyver,” Richard Dean Anderson has had quite the adventure in American television. It wasn’t an easy journey to the top for the Ohio-born actor as he worked several odd jobs before becoming a television star.

But those days are far behind him as he’s not only an accomplished actor with two Saturn Awards, he’s also a film producer, having produced at least five movies. Anderson left the industry in 2013 after appearing in one episode of “Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23.”
