Mahershala Ali – Basketball

Mahershala Ali is an award-winning actor whose breakthrough role was for the fantasy film “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” with Brad Pitt. His performances in “Green Book,” and “Moonlight” went on to ascertain him two prestigious Academy Awards.

Ali attended St Mary’s College of California on a basketball scholarship and played ninety-seven games for their home team SMC Gaels. He became disappointed with the treatment of athletes in basketball and opted for acting instead. The award-winning actor voiced the vampire hunter character ‘Blade’ in 2021’s “Eternals” ahead of his standalone movie.
