Ed O’Neill – American Football

American Ed O’Neill is an award-winning television actor as well as a comedian. He rose to fame for his role of Al Bundy on the sitcom “Married…with Children,” which won him two Golden Globes, and a starring role on the television show “Modern Family,” as Jay Pritchard. 

O’Neill was a former high school football star and was later signed as a free agent to the Pittsburgh Steelers in ’69. Unfortunately, he was cut during training camp going up against fellow rookie defensive linebacker “Mean Joe” Greene. The comedian filmed the last series of “Modern Family” in 2020 but has not announced any upcoming projects.
