Forest Whitaker – American Football
Academy Award-winning actor Forest Whitaker made his film debut in the ’80s, he has earned a reputation in Hollywood for his intense character study for many of his movies. His most notable work is his portrayal of Ugandan dictator Idi Amin in “The Last King of Scotland.”
Whitaker played on the football team at his high school in Los Angeles, eventually leading him to earn a football scholarship at California State Polytechnic University. After sustaining a back injury from the sport, he changed his major to music and drama instead. He plays the gangster character ‘Bumpy’ in the television series “Godfather of Harlem” in 2021.
