Denzel Washington – Basketball

Denzel Washington is an American actor, producer, and director who started his path towards show business in the ’70s television film “Wilma.” His incredible talent in movies like “Glory,” and “Training Day” has earned him not one but two prestigious Academy Awards.

The actor is also a talented athlete. He played guard in collegiate basketball while attending Fordham University in New York City. According to his teammates, he was great at defense but not so good at shooting. Washington starred in the 2021 Apple Original film “The Tragedy of Macbeth” as the lead, alongside award-winning actress Frances McDormand.
