Trevor Eve (Born In 1951) – Waking the Dead

He might look a bit different from the guy who played the detective character in the ‘80s series “Shoestring” but he’s in no way less talented. Having started his career in the ‘70s, Eve has become quite popular in British television thanks to his roles in several series.

Apart from “Shoestring,” another of his famous shows is “Waking the Dead,” which aired on BBC from 2000 to 2011. He has already done quite a lot, but you might be surprised to know that Eve isn’t even thinking about retirement yet. Since 2018, he’s been starring in the series “A Discovery of Witches.”
